Clay Thompson is the only FIRE certified fireplace and chimney inspector in Sacramento (#FP-197).  This is the only national certification for becoming a chimney inspector.

All of our technicians are CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certified chimney sweeps. We also have an NFI (National Fireplace Institute) Certified Gas and Pellet Specialist on staff to serve your gas and pellet hearth needs.

Our office manager, Amie Ryan, is also a GSCSG Certified Chimney Sweep as well as serving on the HPBA Pacific Board of Directors. Amie has worked quite extensively with the air district in regards to change-outs and the wood-burning rule enacted in 2007 for Sacramento County.
